Grid-connected solar solution to meet significant load demands

Our Solarators® are designed to instantly complement and boost mains power in situations where the available mains power supply is insufficient to meet your project's power load demands. Installing a grid-connected Solarator® provides the additional power necessary without the time, cost and hassle of installing an upgraded mains supply. Since our Solarators® are classed as appliances, generally all that's required to connect up to the grid is a Certificate of Electrical Completion and your site has all the power it needs.

Our energy range products have been deployed worldwide including urban and regional Australia, Spain, the Pacific Islands, the Bahamas, and Djibouti. Our clients have access to live and historical data that can help maximise performance against diesel throughout the project lifespan. We recognise the value of data in strategic decision-making: that's why each Solarator® unit is connected to a powerful, custom reporting dashboard where clients at different levels of the organisation can generate relevant and custom sustainability reports in minutes.

World-first technology led to Australia's first carbon positive construction site

Black Stump Technologies delivered a world-first innovation for McConnell Dowell. Using our rapidly deployable, grid-connected model, the Solarator® was deployed to three different level crossing removal sites across Victoria: Old Geelong Road, Mt. Derrimut Deer Park, and Webb Street. Being Australia's first carbon positive construction site, the project attracted significant public and media interest and a ministerial visit.

Overall, the Solarators® helped client avoid emitting over 109,000 kgs of carbon per annum and generated 140 kWh of renewable energy annually.
