This week Black Stump Technologies delivered a 20-foot ISO container with a 100% solar renewable refrigerator to our U.S partners, ROXBOX Containers in Denver, Colorado.
The solar cold storage container will soon be deployed in Colorado assisting the agriculture industry by providing access to locally grown food in urban areas and food deserts.
The technology has been designed to house organically grown vegetables immediately at 4 degrees Celsius at the picking point thereby extending shelf life before being sold at local organic food markets.
The deployable solar array allows the container to operate on 100% solar power in most climatic conditions, our client can look forward to rapidly deploying the renewable refrigerator across the state and a fast return on investment while reducing fossil fuel emissions.
