Off The Grid is an annual environmentally conscious festival celebrating music, art, culture, and eco-lifestyle. In 2017, it was Australia’s only solar-powered festival.
Key challenge:
The entire festival operations must be self-sufficient and zero-waste, relying only on renewable sources of energy and battery banks.
Solarator® solution:
Black Stump Technologies, through our Solarator® Chill, supported the event's ambitious vision of mounting a fully circular event. Using our innovative and sustainable cooling solutions, the event organisers were poised to save up to $57,000 in fuel costs and more than 63,000 kgs of carbon emissions.
