Black Stump Technologies' innovative and sustainable solutions to refrigeration and cold-chain supply issues have benefitted remote communities in different parts of the world. These are some of the ways our commercial-grade, off-grid Solarators® Chill, Ice, and Freeze have contributed positive economic and social impact.
Local farming communities from Papua New Guinea (PNG) and Vanuatu were able to preserve the quality and extend shelf life of their harvest through sustainable pre-cooling methods enabled by our solar-powered cold-chain Solarators®. Another deployment at PNG is a custom, solar-powered mortuary to support the redevelopment project of ANGAU Memorial Hospital at Lae. Our custom Solarator® has also been deployed in Djibouti as part of a 2-year aid and development project in collaboration with Liquidstar, USAID, and the Ministry of Energy of Djibouti. The clean energy generated by our custom cool room was used to charge small and medium sized batteries for communications and mobility devices and empower the remote community with access to internet services. At the same time, the Solarator® and its atmospheric water generator technology has provided a source of income to families by providing them with potable water to sell.
These deployments are just the beginning. We are committed to empower more remote communities through our mobile, modular, rapidly deployable, and sustainable ice makers, cool rooms, freezers. Contact our team now to learn more.
