However, mobile freezers are expensive and usually rely on diesel. In off-grid locations, it is close to impossible to sustain cold chain operations, until now. Solarators® use free and clean energy from the sun to facilitate cold storage and freezing, without breaking the bank. Within 30 minutes, the temperature inside our Solarator® Freeze can be pulled to as low as -18°C. Similar to our full product range, this unit is designed to be mobile, modular, rapidly deployable, and easily transportable by road, rail or sea. It is also hybrid and micro-grid friendly and comes with customisable energy storage.
