Black Stump Technologies developed a world first technology for 100% off-grid and hybrid- solar powered mortuaries in 2017, funded by the Australian government.
This has led to manufacture and deployment in remote communities such as Papua New Guinea that do not have stable power supply during disasters. Issues like capacity, fuel supply, noise and pollution arise during these times.
In this time of the Covid19 crisis, this Australian technology is being mobilised to help our health sector and the Australian community in both urban and regional areas.
