Fuel cost and carbon emissions saved in Narre Warren

McConnell Dowell continues to make strides in sustainable construction practices by utilising Black Stump Technologies' Solarators®. In Narre Warren, our Solarator® Compact 4 replaced a 30kVa diesel unit which led to more than 77,000 kgs of carbon emissions avoided annually. They also saved more than $57,000 in fuel costs and an additional $20,000 saved in diesel servicing expenses per annum. At this rate, the expected payback period for the Compact 4 unit is 2 years.
